Job Description:
- Group Audit runs a professional, business focused, proactive risk based global audit function that operates with openness, integrity and independence, and which assists the business mitigate high level control risks in the implementation of Group strategy.

- The role requires the candidate to be able to execute risk based and regulatory audits both locally and globally; issue tracking and closure validation in line with Group Audit Methodology
- Closely work/ coordination with other GA teams globally, working in partnership, to facilitate effective coverage of audits to ensure the timely delivery of the audit plan.
- Contribute to Risk Assessment/ Continuous Monitoring and overall implementation of Group Audit Methodology.
- Pro-actively develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, the business and respective support areas.
- Continues to develop relevant technical expertise
- Has an innovative mindset and develops ideas, which are implemented and have a positive impact
- Understands the stakeholders marketplace and responds to expectations
- We are seeking an audit professional who is a self-starter.
- Minimum qualification required - Graduate Degree or ACA or MBA Finance.
- Having experience in Internal Audit of Investment Banking/Corporate Banking or Retail Banking.
- The candidate should be flexible, pro-active, self-sufficient and innovative with strong organizational skills.
- Confidence to speak with management about issues, controls failures, etc
- Candidate/Applicants should be able to multi-task assignments and prioritize their workload with limited supervision and be resilient under pressure.
- The candidate should have excellent written/verbal communication skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Strong understanding of internal control risk assessment concepts and strong analytical skills are required
- The successful candidate drives integrated working practices, takes ownership and responsibility of agreed targets and meets them within budget.
- Willing to travel for audits
- Work experience of approximately 3-5 years.
