Head of Business Development (Funds and Insurance)

A leading asset management firm is seeking a Head of Business Development and Distribution to lead strategic initiatives for financial advisors, building up platforms and intermediary distribution channels.

Your new role

• Lead a team of BDMs and develop and execute a robust business development strategy to achieve AUM growth targets
• Develop and implement marketing outreach plans, including trainings, webinars, and targeted campaigns to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective distributors
• Understand investment objectives and goals of target audience to provide investment advisory services and recommend suitable fund offerings and investment solutions
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor strategies, and untapped opportunities in public, private, and alternative markets
• Leverage insights to develop innovative investment offerings and strategies. Support product development initiatives to align with market demands and distributor feedback
• Track and report on business development activities, pipeline progress, and AUM growth metrics to stakeholders on business development performance
• Responsible for all company communication channels to provide distribution support and hold standards and quality of client support

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 10 years of business development, distribution, investor relations experience.
• Knowledge in funds, insurance, and wealth management business.
• Experience in asset management, private equity, market fundamentals.
• Proven success in AUM growth via relationship managers, advisors or intermediaries. Top line or bottom line.
• Experience with leading a team would be a plus.
