Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze insurance applications and evaluate risks associated with small business accounts in the E&S market.
- Determine appropriate rates, terms, and conditions for coverage based on risk analysis and market trends.
- Collaborate with brokers to gather necessary information, provide clarification, and negotiate terms and conditions.
- Utilize underwriting guidelines and company standards to make sound underwriting decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the E&S market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration.
- Assist in developing and implementing underwriting strategies to achieve profitability and growth objectives.
- Review and approve endorsements, audits, and other policy changes as necessary.
- Travel as needed for client meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
