Description

The primary functions of this position are to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of financial results, the maintenance of the functional controls to safeguard and effectively use assets of the corporation through appropriate controls and compliance, and to providing senior management with the level of support and information required for the operation of the business.

• Corporate Accounting is responsible for the complete and accurate financial reporting of multiple corporate general ledgers managed by Shared Services.
• Corporate Accounting acts as an inter-company conduit for transactions among and between IPG and ITT HQ and administers the PRMS and SAP General Ledger for these business units. Corporate accounting administers international netting for Shared Services and multiple other business units.
• Corporate Accounting is responsible for Fixed Assets management as a Shared Service for multiple business units.

Education: Requires BS/BA in Accounting.

Experience: 1-5 years of Accounting.

Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• Minimal knowledge and application of Accounting principles.
• Executes standard well-defined processes.
• Good communications skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to interact with others.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task and consistently follow processes.
• PC skills including, MS Excel and Word. PRMS and SAP financials.
