Georgia Transmission Corporation
Company Overview
Georgia Transmission Corporation (GTC) is a not-for-profit cooperative in northeast Atlanta (Tucker, GA) that is owned by the state’s customer-owned electric co-ops. We plan, build and maintain high-voltage power lines and substations that keep 38 electric membership cooperatives and about 4.1 million Georgians in business. We work with other major utilities to jointly plan and operate the state’s power grid of 17,500 miles of transmission lines.
