Job Description: Vice President for Finance
Job Summary:
Reporting to the President, the Vice President for Finance serves as a senior officer of the University and is a member of the Cabinet.
As a member of the Cabinet, the Vice President for Finance is the Chief Financial Officer and has responsibility for the leadership and overall stewardship of the University’s operating budget, financial planning, financial accounting, endowment management, cash management, the management of institutional debt, risk management and contract management. The Business Office and Campus Store report to the VPFA.
The Vice President for Finance works closely with the Board of Trustees and serves both as Treasurer and the administrative liaison for the Finance and Endowment, Audit, and Property and Facilities Committees.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field
Experience in financial management.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic financial planning, financial analysis, asset management, debt financing, and accounting
Current CPA licensure preferred
